Programme Manager

Opportunity Bank is hiring a creative, agile, and results-driven individual for the position of Programme Manager.
Job Description
1. Project Management
- Develop reporting templates and manage project updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure project activities align with objectives and budgets, adjusting where necessary.
- Create and manage donor communications, including quarterly reports and financial statements.
- Draft and oversee partner MoUs, Terms of Reference for external evaluations, and impact reporting.
- Maintain donor compliance, safeguarding, branding, and impact management.
Finance:
- Oversee financial reporting and budgeting, reconciling finances within Opportunity International’s network.
- Track funding distribution to partners in alignment with project deliverables.
- Monitor expenditures against project milestones.
2. Business Development
- Contribute to the design of new project proposals aligned with Opportunity International’s best practices.
- Collaborate with international teams to develop high-quality, fundable programs.
- Assist in preparing funding applications, including budgets, log frames, and impact measurement strategies.
- Ensure proposed budgets align with program objectives and Opportunity International’s impact framework.
3. Programme Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning
- Document and integrate learnings into program activities while sharing best practices.
- Present quarterly impact dashboards in stakeholder meetings.
- Participate in program-wide impact dissemination efforts.
- Conduct field visits for partner review and feedback.
4. External Networking
- Represent Opportunity International in donor meetings and working groups.
- Increase the organization’s visibility by participating in development and industry forums.
- Engage with in-country donor offices, facilitating visits and securing financial or technical support.
- Share knowledge and insights with internal teams to facilitate further funding opportunities.
5. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the M&E Associates and Refugee Country Lead to achieve program objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in international project management and grant coordination.
- Strong financial management skills, including budget oversight and expenditure monitoring.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Personal Skills & Abilities
- Excellent written communication skills, including report writing.
- Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Commitment to Opportunity International’s mission and values.
