Project Accountant & Administrative Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities
- Offer financial and management accounting services to the Project.
- Participate in the budgeting process and budget revisions for the Project and/or ADRA Uganda.
- Ensure monthly management accounts for project funds are reconciled and submitted to the assigned Accountant at ADRA Uganda Head Office by the 5th of every month.
- Develop and prepare budget control sheets for the assigned Project, submitting them with financial statements and reconciliations to the Finance Office before donor submission.
- Ensure field financial reports are organized, accurate, and submitted on time for timely processing.
- Oversee stores operations, conduct regular stock-taking exercises, and update and submit program assets/inventory lists monthly.
- Serve as the Young Mothers Administrative Assistant.
- Develop and manage a central registry and filing system for project documents.
- Coordinate information dissemination to project stakeholders under the supervision of the Project Coordinator.
- Organize administrative meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes to the appropriate recipients.
- Maintain office cleanliness.
- Prepare and dispatch project reports, letters, and communication as directed by the Project Manager.
- Organize and participate in training sessions for project beneficiaries on financial literacy, financial management, and records management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
