The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is recruiting a Protection Information Management Consultant
Scope Of Work
The Consultant will:
- Support development of digital data analysis and presentation tools, and capacity building to support protection analysis.
- Support development of digital qualitative data analysis and presentation tools, and capacity building to support analysis of justice systems in times of crisis.
Under this contract, the consultant’s support will help achieve the following objective and deliverables: Minimum Qualifications:
- Capacity Building and knowledge management – Protection Analysis (34 days)
- Lead on developing and delivering two trainings on qualitative data analysis based on existing resources and training materials.
- In coordination with the Protection Analysis project team, finalize and test the Protection Analysis Codebook developed to support qualitative analysis.
- Support country programs to use the DEEP platform for the purposes of qualitative analysis.
- Support with the development of Protection Analysis dashboard template to complement country program and regional analysis initiatives.
- Capacity Building and knowledge management – Justice Systems Analysis (20 days)
- Support on training and utilization of the DEEP Codebook and Guidance, including setting up projects on the platform and contextualizing the Codebook with relevant examples.
- Complement PAF Question Bank, to include legal analysis questions.
- Develop Power BI Dashboard for justice systems analysis in partnership with the Justice Systems Analysis team, including key indicators to be visualized.
- Update the methodology finder template, to include the question bank and methodology for justice systems analysis.
Consultant Qualifications And Experience
- An advanced degree in humanities, statistics, computer science, information management or other related discipline.
- At least 3 years’ professional experience in protection data analysis, information management, developing digital data management and analysis applications in crisis contexts.
- Experience with the coordination of multistakeholder projects within IRC or/and other humanitarian organizations.
- An understanding of digital platforms supporting qualitative analysis (such as DEEP) and data visualization
- Experience in adults’ trainings activities
- Culturally sensitive – able and interested in working with a multi-diverse team.
- Strong commitment to the IRC’s mission, purpose and values.
Expression of Interest
Qualified consultants are encouraged to submit technical and financial proposals (including proposed daily consultant rate) in their application.
Proposals will be considered on a rolling basis.
