QA/QC Engineer – Structural Fabrication

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 3-5 Years

Responsibilities:

• Inspect & record material measurements per drawings before/during inspections
• Provide technical assistance (drawings, pressure tests, defect acceptance, tools, and instruments)
• Perform incoming inspections for raw materials
• Conduct online inspections & report conformity/non-conformity
• Maintain inspection records & coordinate with relevant departments
• Track important orders per customer specifications
• Update technical documents for process & operations
• Develop PQR and WPS for different welding processes & secure third-party approval
• Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITP) & Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs)
• Maintain pressure test certificates & quality reports

Authority & Reporting:

• Reports to: General Manager – Structural Division

Safety, Environmental & Health Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness & enforce PPE usage in the plant
• Train workers on environmental maintenance & safety procedures
• Identify & improve EHS resources in the company
• Maintain good housekeeping (clean spills, empty waste bins, manage scrap)
• Assist in EHS audits & implement corrective measures
• Ensure proper waste disposal & availability of waste bins
• Respond to accidents, assist with investigations, and coordinate medical aid
• Safeguard staff security & promote health & safety policies
• Encourage teamwork, integrity, and ethical work culture
