Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and manage the quality control team, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to ensure quality requirements are met in both production and raw materials.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints and non-conformities, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality records and documentation, including quality reports, certifications, and compliance documents.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.
• Set and maintain HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) standards within the company.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with the quality team at the head office in the Netherlands.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A degree in Food Science, Animal Nutrition, Quality Management, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role, with three (3) years in a senior office or management position.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, FSSC 22000) and certification processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Working knowledge of current legislation on animal feed standards and experience with HSSE.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
