We are hiring Quantitative Research Assistant (10)
Reports to: Study Coordinator
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in data collection following the study protocol.
- Respond to questions from respondents during data collection.
- Participate in data validation to ensure data quality.
- Provide daily updates on fieldwork, including completed interviews and any issues encountered.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, meeting deadlines.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Study Coordinator or data collection team leaders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Sciences, Public Health, Statistics, or a related discipline. Candidates with experience in UgandaEMR or HIV treatment records are encouraged to apply.
- Certificate in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or Human Subject Protection is required.
- Experience with electronic data collection using tablets or mobile phones.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Prior experience in extracting health data, particularly from ART clinics.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow study-specific procedures and guidelines reliably.
