Receivables Accountant

Roke Telecom is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Receivables Accountant to manage and oversee all aspects of customer invoicing, payment processing, and debt collection. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company maintains a healthy cash flow and efficient accounts receivable operations.
Position: Receivables Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing procedures.
- Process and record payments received from customers promptly and accurately.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices or payments, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
- Facilitate effective debt collection, including following up on overdue accounts and negotiating payment plans where applicable.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of receivables transactions.
- Monitor customer accounts and prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status.
- Provide excellent customer service to address inquiries or concerns related to invoices and payments.
- Work closely with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve billing and payment issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving timely payment collections.
