Receivables Accountant

Roke Telecom is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Receivables Accountant to manage and oversee all aspects of customer invoicing, payment processing, and debt collection. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company maintains a healthy cash flow and efficient accounts receivable operations.

Position: Receivables Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing procedures.
Process and record payments received from customers promptly and accurately.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices or payments, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
Facilitate effective debt collection, including following up on overdue accounts and negotiating payment plans where applicable.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of receivables transactions.
Monitor customer accounts and prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status.
Provide excellent customer service to address inquiries or concerns related to invoices and payments.
Work closely with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes.

What We’re Looking For:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve billing and payment issues effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with customers and internal teams.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving timely payment collections.
