Regional Manager

Reporting to: Manager Distribution

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive service excellence by planning, monitoring, and enforcing SLAs, service standards, and service initiatives.
2. Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate branch work plans and activities to ensure achievement of targets.
3. Stay updated on local market dynamics, identifying risks and opportunities.
4. Develop business and marketing strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
5. Define and implement a regional work plan aligned with the business strategy.
6. Recommend improvements to systems, processes, and information flows.
7. Manage operational issues and ensure necessary resources for effective performance.
8. Drive multi-channel sales and service strategies across the region.
9. Oversee risk management programs across all branches.
10. Identify and assess branch risks, ensuring effective control systems.
11. Ensure compliance with bank policies, KYC, ATM cash counts, and credit requests.
12. Build and manage client relationships to enhance acquisition, retention, and growth.
13. Maintain high customer service standards, addressing complaints promptly.
14. Provide supervisory leadership in performance management and HR practices.

Financial Responsibility:

Responsible for the delivery of annual regional and branch budgets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 6 years in banking business growth, with at least 2 years as a Branch Manager.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve complex matters.
  • Good understanding of branch banking systems, processes, and business.
  • Networking skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Creativity, ability to drive change and innovation.
