Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for reveloping new channel partners based on local market insights for expanding distribution reach in the organization.

Responsible For
Channel Management:
• Brief of product USP, Channel wise Price & Schemes to relevant stake holders. • Providing complete assistance to the Territory Development Officer within UGANDA to enable Secondary sales & Business Development.
• To have all Sales Enablers support to team Build Volumes around the Brand.
• Brand/Pack Numeric & Weighted Distribution. Business Development:
• Interacting with all channels & teams on regular basis for generating desired sales volume.
• Identifying opportunities for improving retail sales.
• Interacting with Channel Partners & Develop inputs with Sales Enablers like POPs, samplings and other brand development initiatives.
• Gather knowledge & Keeping track of local events and celebrations to explore the possibilities of getting associated with it to improve brand image and sales volumes. Planning & Management:
• Formulating monthly tour plan & schedules for self and team members for better coverage of territory and frequently meeting trade channel partners.
• Identifying potential new markets/dealers/partners, trade opportunities & recommending new business development plans
• Planning and execution BTL activities in coordination with marketing, sales and service team members.
• Gathering market intelligence and providing strategic input to Management for further action.
• Planning in advance the BTL activities (schemes, sampling, promotions etc.) which suit the local market.
• Preparing the brand/pack, channel-wise, area-wise sales forecasts for the country based on Market opportunity, Sales trends, Marketing Inputs. Team Management:
• Ensure the team is adhering to work timings, daily report submissions and professional approach to all customers.
• Identifying the training needs and planning/imparting training programs to sales teams. Ensure the team is fully aware of their roles, responsibilities and daily , weekly & monthly priorities.
• Developing and implementing the go-to-market strategy with regards to targets to achieve goals.
Educational Requirements
• Graduate/MBA with 12-15 years of Sales in Alco Beverage Industry.
• Must be subject matter expert and has command over the subject/concepts.
