Revenue Accountant

Full-time

Our young Ugandan subsidiary is looking for its next Revenue Accountant, who will work under the responsibilty of our Chief Accountant.

The Revenue Accountant is the guarantor of the accounting and billing of subscribers. He/she is also responsible for managing subscribers and distributors data.

Tasks
• Control of the daily discharge from the subscriber management software (ZOURA) to the accounting software (Workday)
• Control of the correct assignment of promotions and gratuities to the corresponding subscribers
• Track subscriber billing
• Supervise all operations of the Treasury of subscribers and distributors
• Monitor outstanding amounts and suspicious customer

• Analyze the discrepancies per subscriber between theoretical and actual billing
• Manage the relationship between distributors and Business Customers

• Entry and lettering in the accounting tool the subscriber and distributor revenues.
• Produce and control distributors’ commissions
• Manage the collection and schedules of business customers and distributors.

Related activities
• Control of Boutique cash registers and the return of funds.
• Assess the risk of the Account through the production of a decree and the control of the available information
• Update analysis and monitoring tools
• Control of the subscribers turnover : full validation
• Oversee the management of approval contracts with Canal+ partners
• Track, analyze and explain all business customer accounts

Education and work experience
• Minimum higher level of education (Bac +2/3), accounting type
• Significant experience of at least 3 years in a similar function

Skills
• Mastery of the techniques and rules of general accounting
• Mastery of the Microsoft Office Pack in particular Excel
• Mastery of an ERP (Workday or SAP for instance) would be a strong advantage
