Route to Market Specialist

Job Summary:
Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU), a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, is seeking a Route to Market Specialist. This role supports the sales team by executing route-to-market strategies, driving innovation, and promoting digital sales initiatives. The specialist will report directly to the Country Lead Route to Market.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive oversight of OCCDs in the assigned region.
Spearhead innovation projects and drive the commercial digital agenda, including sales automation.
Identify and implement best practices, core processes, and enabling systems.
Design and deploy capability-building assets, including learning solutions and development programs.
Train, support, and coach local sales teams to adopt and utilize frameworks, tools, assets, and best practices.
Measure and benchmark key sales performance metrics.
Provide specialist support for complex projects, including business development.
Support the RTM Manager in shaping business strategies and plans.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing, or any relevant discipline (required).
Postgraduate qualification (an added advantage).

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in Sales and Distribution in a competitive environment, preferably FMCG.
Experience using systems, with knowledge of MSD being an added advantage.
Strong data analysis and management skills.
Experience in reporting.
