Security Supervisor
Full-time
The Security Supervisor shall as part of the Security Team be accountable and responsible for the Bank’s physical security operations including management of outsourced security firms, CCTV surveillance & Investigations. The role is aimed at ensuring safety and security of assets, premises of stakeholders, including regular monitoring & managing of surveillance equipment, spot checks and permitting entry and exit of items and individuals in/out of premises.

External – External Security Companies
Key Result Areas
1. Shall assist the Security Manager in assessing the security risks & establish policies to prevent dangers like firebombs, sabotage, medical emergencies and intrusion.
2. Assist the Security Manager in Researching, developing and recommending strategic interventions for security operations with the aim of improving the bank’s security.
3. Maintain security log, external guard’s deployment log, incident report log, fraudster’s database & occurrence book.
4. Monitors key security trends in the banking sector both locally and internationally and the external environment as a whole and make improvements based on the obtained information.
5. Together with the Security Manager, shall conduct periodic performance reviews of security firms responsible for guarding premises and those that are responsible for maintaining security gargets (CCTV, fire and alarm systems) in line with SLA.
6. Continuously monitor the functionality of the existing Bank security equipment and outsourced security vendors gadgets deployed at the Bank.
7. Regularly issue security advisory to staff and customers about imminent security threats/fraudulent activities and guide them on the appropriate counter measures through circulars and sensitizations.
8. Monitor performance/deployment of external security guards and regally rotate the personnel.
9. Receive, verify asset movement forms and duly authorise transfer/movement of the assets with in and out of bank premises
10. Engage contracted service providers to carry out routine service & diagnosis of all bank security equipment to ensure they are operational all the time.
11. Support the Security Manager in investigations in liaison with the investigation unit of the bank and any government security organ.
12. Report any security breaches/incidents to management and provide probable mitigation measures and solutions.

Financial Responsibility
Accountable for managing the physical security budget.
Education & Training:
A diploma from a recognized university /institution is a requirement and any other qualifications/ certification in security and risk management trainings is an added advantage
Skills & Experience:
1. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in security and of which 2 years at supervisory role.
2. CCTV, alarm, biometrics and access control management knowledge with a minimum of 2 years experience in managing security systems.
