Senior Associate- Data Analytics

We are looking for a Senior Associate- Data Analytics to provide support in our Advisory department.
This is a data analysis and reporting specialist role focused on business intelligence and fraud detection. You’ll build tools and analyze data to identify fraud risks and weaknesses in client systems. You’ll also create reports and dashboards to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ultimately, you’ll help clients make data-driven decisions to improve business and mitigate risk.
Specific roles:
- Develop and deliver analytics reporting and Business Intelligence dashboards and reports as required by business areas.
- Design data analysis routines and tools to detect fraud and/or control weaknesses.
- Exhibit strong consulting skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for customer service and the ability to work in a billable hour environment.
- Promote a data-driven mindset and collaborate with stakeholders in defining business problems and delivering analytics solutions that produce tangible business results.
- Interpret data and analysis into impactful, action-oriented insights for internal stakeholders.
- Communicate key findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using storytelling techniques
Desired Qualifications, skills and attributes
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, statistics or related fields of core sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Portfolio showcasing previous analyses, reports, or dashboards.
- 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
Competences:
- Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform in-depth data analysis using SQL and data engineering knowledge.
- Exceptional communication skills to present findings and recommendations.
- Strong leadership track record with the ability to work independently and effectively with leadership teams.
- Balanced strategic and tactical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Results-driven with high accuracy of output.
