Senior Imaging Technologist

The Senior Imaging Technologist will oversee and manage the radio-imaging activities within the hospital, ensuring the provision of high-quality radiological services to patients.
Reports to: Clinical Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
• Planning and budgeting for radio-imaging activities in the hospital.
• Conducting and supervising radio-imaging procedures.
• Providing pre- and post-imaging care to patients.
• Ensuring compliance with radiation safety protocols.
• Maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment.
• Requisitioning and managing inventory of imaging materials and supplies.
• Supervising and appraising staff in the radiology department.
• Adhering to professional standards and ethics in radiological practice.
• Supporting research initiatives and continuing education in radiology.
• Compiling and submitting reports to relevant authorities.
Key Outputs

• Radio-imaging procedures conducted and supervised.

Qualifications:
• Must have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging Sciences from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the relevant professional regulatory body.
