1. Director of Human Resources (DHR)
Position: Director Human Resource

Purpose of the Job:
The Director of Human Resources (DHR) provides strategic leadership for the University’s Human Resource Directorate, developing and implementing HR policies, systems, and processes aligned with the University’s strategic goals. The DHR plays a key role in managing talent acquisition, employee performance, and the overall well-being of University staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategic plans and policies in line with the University’s goals.
- Prepare and monitor the annual HR work plan and budget.
- Coordinate recruitment, performance management, and staff development initiatives.
- Oversee employee relations and promote a positive work culture.
- Provide guidance on HR matters to the University Management, governing bodies, and department heads.
- Supervise and mentor staff within the HR Directorate.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (HR option), or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in senior management.
- Membership in a professional HR body.
- Strong leadership, communication, and ICT skills.
- A mature and practicing Christian with adherence to the University’s values.
- Aged between 40-50 years.
2. Dean of Students (DOS)
Position: Dean of Students
Salary Structure: NDU 3
Number of Posts: One (1)
Reports to: University Secretary

Location: Ndejje University, Kampala, Uganda
Purpose of the Job:
The Dean of Students (DOS) is responsible for the overall welfare of students, including their academic, social, and personal development. The DOS supervises co-curricular activities, student discipline, and ensures that students receive proper guidance and support during their time at the University.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee students’ welfare, including accommodation, health, and safety.
- Coordinate student activities such as sports, social events, and academic clubs.
- Lead student counseling, guidance, and mentorship programs.
- Collaborate with student leaders to address concerns and maintain discipline.
- Work closely with faculty to support student development and promote ethical leadership.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:
- Master’s degree in Sociology, Counselling, Psychology, or related field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience working with students, with at least 5 years in senior management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A mature, practicing Christian who adheres to the University’s core values.
- Aged between 35-45 years.
3. Deputy Academic Registrar (DAR)
Position: Deputy Academic Registrar
Salary Scale: NDU 3
Number of Posts: One (1)
Reports to: Academic Registrar

Location: Ndejje University, Kampala, Uganda
Purpose of the Job:
The Deputy Academic Registrar (DAR) supports the Academic Registrar in managing the academic affairs of the University, including admissions, curriculum development, examinations, and academic research. The DAR plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of academic systems and maintaining high standards of education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination of curriculum development for all academic programs.
- Oversee student admission processes and ensure compliance with University policies.
- Assist with managing examinations, grading, and academic schedules.
- Organize graduation ceremonies and academic boards/committees.
- Ensure quality assurance in all academic programs and contribute to the development of research initiatives.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:
- Master’s degree in Education Administration, Planning, or a related field (PhD is an advantage).
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in academic administration, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A mature, practicing Christian who upholds the University’s core values.
- Aged between 40-50 years.
