Uganda Martyrs University is welcoming Applications for the Tag Dev 2.0 Scholarships in Collaboration with The Mastercard Foundation

Subject: Dear All! Greetings of the Lenten Season

MasterCard Foundation, working with UMU, is ready to offer scholarships to needy students, both boys and girls, but with more emphasis on the latter. The scholarship is 100% in all the areas (tuition, functional fees, accommodation, feeding…) and for full-time study at Nkozi (only).

This communication is coming to ask you to search for prospective students to benefit from this scholarship. Please, reach out to them, and let them know about it. We all come from somewhere where we might know someone who can qualify for this scholarship (needy people). The place of origin, former school, and acquaintances include those in the following categories:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Girls or boys, especially those from very poor backgrounds, who are struggling to further their education, or, who sat UACE (not later than three years ago) but could not continue due to lack of facilitation.
Those who may have outstanding physical disabilities like the lame, visually-impaired,… but while they are also financially struggling.
The refugees in the various camps in the country are presumed to be financially needy, so, they are included. We ask the refugee students we have at UMU to tip those whom they know sat/passed UACE but may not/cannot continue because of lack of funds.
