Tri-cycle driver

 Reporting To Transport Supervisor, The Successful Candidate Will;

Key Result Areas:

*Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.

*Willing to work as part of delivery team in order to ensure that the material in vehicle is well placed, correctly and safely delivered.

*Willing to work early morning, late evenings, holidays, Sundays to deliver the materials loaded on the Tricycle.

*Should be available while loading Tricycle so to ensure that the material is securely placed.

*Should fill and write logbooks correctly.

*Regularly keep in touch with Transport staff to provide details of any issues arises during delivery of products.

*Must Upkeep the Tricycle neat and tidy and should maintain it nicely.

*Drive the Tricycle safely on road and maintain the speed limits of town and make sure the loader is safely sited and wearing safety elements during transit.

*Must be available with Tricycle when the loader is offloading and delivering the products.

*Make sure the delivery papers are signed by customer and submitted back to customer care after coming back from dispatch.

*Conform to environmental management system requirements.

*Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

 Educational Qualifications and Experience

*Uganda Certificate of Education.

*Valid driving permit with the relevant class B1.

*At least 2 years’ experience in driving Tricycles

 Skills & Professional Attributes Required

*Ability to work independently in carrying out assignments to completion.

*Effective Verbal and written communication.

*Customer service orientation skills.

*Considerable ability to adhere to prescribed routines and practices; and compose effective and accurate correspondence.

*Decision making skills is required
