YOUTH CLIMATE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM 2024

Fridays for Future Uganda is cognizant of the need to actively involve young people in innovative thinking, planning and implementing climate solutions and sustainable projects. The organization has, therefore, designed the climate mentorship program to build the capacity of the youth so that they become strategic climate activists while advocating for environmental justice and sustainable development.

The participants are mentored in areas of climate advocacy, strategic communication and as well supported to perform in their areas of interest. This program enrolls young people between the age of 16 to 25 years who are interested in environmental activism regardless of their gender, tribe, religious affiliations, race or background. The program lasts for 12 weeks.
