Nation Media Group (NMG) is hiring a Business Manager to spearhead 360° advertising sales across Broadcast, Digital, and Print platforms, with a focus on boosting Broadcast and Digital revenues. The role involves leading and motivating a high-performing sales team, building strategic client relationships, and developing integrated advertising solutions to strengthen NMG’s market position and drive commercial growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve advertising revenue targets across Broadcast, Digital, and Print, emphasizing growth in Broadcast and Digital platforms.
  • Develop and implement integrated sales strategies and campaigns to maximize cross-platform opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire Business Executives to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term client partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor for multi-platform advertising solutions.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, with a focus on Broadcast and Digital innovation.
  • Negotiate strategic partnerships and sponsorships to enhance revenue and brand equity.
  • Monitor sales performance, conduct reviews, and implement performance improvement strategies.
  • Manage debtors’ ledgers and ensure compliance with credit policies.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture to deliver high-quality client service.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Managers and cross-functional teams to execute business plans effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:
Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Professional: Relevant professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Media Management is an advantage.
Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales and business management experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role in media, advertising, or a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Proven track record in media advertising sales with cross-platform exposure.
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-media commercialization and cross-integration with partnerships.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Deep understanding of the media advertising ecosystem, particularly Broadcast and Digital trends.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-evolving media landscape.
  • Proficiency in business reporting, forecasting, and digital tools/CRM systems.
