Nile Breweries Limited is hiring a Sales and Distribution Administrator to provide an efficient and quality administrative support service to the Commercial Director.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create purchase orders and do GRN’s on SAP
  • Provide support the team in the management of their budgets via SAP
  • Manage operating budgets
  • Arrange meetings and bookings of meeting rooms
  • Effective diary management
  • Manage the collation of documents for meetings and presentations
  • Be responsible for department filing integrity
  • Administer the sending of documents by courier
  • Arrange travel/ hotel/ car reservations and forex where required
  • Order and distribute POS as required from the supplier
  • Send beer samples as requested
  • Handling incoming calls and direct caller as appropriately or take comprehensive message
  • Respond to questions from the public and provide information where necessary
  • Assist with the preparation of presentation material

  • Sound interpersonal / communication skills and the ability to liaise with Senior Management and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure yet remaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to operate independently and take initiative
  • A pro-active approach essential
  • Ability to play a key supporting role between the Team and the Manager
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to meet deadlines is essential

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years working experience in a senior secretarial position is required
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office essential, SAP added advantage)
  • Experience on SAP or other EBP system would be considered an advantage
  • Ability to interpret and manipulate basic data
  • Advanced abilities on Powerpoint
