Ministry of Education and Sports is inviting Applications from suitably qualified Ugandan scholars to pursue undergraduate studies in Algerian Universities for the 2025/2026 academic year. The scholarships cover various fields of study, with a total of 195 slots available across multiple disciplines. All successful candidates will be required to purchase an air ticket to Algeria at the start of their course and complete a one-year French language course.

Eligibility:

  • Minimum of 2 Principal passes (C and D level) in the essential subjects at A-Level.
  • Applicants must be below 25 years of age at the time of application.
  • Must have obtained A-Level results in 2024.
  • Candidates already admitted on Government sponsorship are not eligible to apply.
  • Note: Applicants are encouraged to start the passport application process and verification of A-Level results by UNEB.

Terms of Scholarship:

  • Successful candidates must purchase an air ticket to Algeria at the start of their course.
  • A one-year French language course is mandatory for all selected candidates.
