POSITION: Senior Assistant Technician

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide technical support to teaching and learning, innovation and research, and community outreach in the School of Engineering and Technology.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
a) National Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized Institution.
b) At least 6 years of relevant experience in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Works.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) To install, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment and facilities in good operating condition.
b) To assist in the planning, preparation, and running of lab practical sessions for students.
c) To implement guidelines and regulations to ensure safety in the laboratory.
d) To assist in research, innovation, development, and consultancy projects.

KEY OUTPUTS
a) Equipment and facilities installed, set up, and maintained in good conditions.
b) Practical sessions planned and run for students.
c) Guidelines and regulations for safety in the laboratory implemented.
d) Assistance provided in research, innovation, development, and consultancy projects.
