PKF Uganda is hiring a motivated and experienced Audit Senior Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will support the planning and execution of audit engagements in accordance with our methodologies and professional standards, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering continuous professional growth.

About the Position

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute audits efficiently.

  • Coach and mentor junior staff during audits.

  • Draft management letters, audit presentations, and financial statements in compliance with IFRS, Accounting Standards, and the Companies Act.

  • Support Audit Seniors on large engagements.

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior auditors.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy audit firm.

  • Proficient in IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), with understanding of their impact on financial statements and auditing.

  • CPA or ACCA candidates preferred; must have completed or be working toward Level 2.
