Hima Cement is hiring a Brand and Communications Manager to manage, grow, and sustain the company’s brand portfolio with the goal of achieving the business’s FY segment-based strategy.

This will be done through:

  • Building and implementing a strategic marketing plan for Hima products’ value chain in the construction sector (B2B, contractors/specifiers, distributors, retail, IHBs, and users).

  • Developing effective marketing initiatives and robust strategies to support equitable brand growth.

  • Managing internal and external communications at Hima Cement while supporting stakeholders promptly and confidentially.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the strategy team to develop macro and micro economic analysis of domestic and export cement market outlook to guide short and mid-term business plans.

  • Implement the business’s marketing plan efficiently through routine communication and performance reviews across all consumer channels: B2B, contractors, IHBs, users, distributors, and retailers/stockists.

  • Monitor the company’s cement market share (domestic and regional) through data collection, analysis, and recommendation of corrective actions.

  • Ensure efficient marketing budget implementation in line with strategic direction, including monitoring and evaluation of external services through accountability and performance reports.

  • Provide monthly competitor outlook reports and assess evolving construction sector needs.

  • Serve as custodian of all company brands and their equity, ensuring consistent standards across advertising, promotions, sponsorships, label design, and all communication.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Technical Competencies

  • Business degree or General Engineering, with specialization in marketing or related profession.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction market field.

  • Strong knowledge of marketing service contacts and business development in the construction industry.

  • Solid IT user knowledge.

  • Excellent command of English.
