AMBA Finance Uganda Limited is hiring a Credit/Loan Officers to play a crucial role in analyzing credit data and financial statements to assess the risk involved in extending credit or lending money. You will prepare reports that aid in decision-making processes, working closely with a team of two under the guidance of the Credit Manager. This on-site position in Kampala demands a detail-oriented and analytical approach, where effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate financial ratios using computer programs to evaluate customers’ financial status.
  • Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions.
  • Contact customers to collect payments on delinquent accounts.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Education Requirements: Post-secondary Diploma in Business or related fields
  • Required Experience: No prior experience necessary
  • Mandatory Skills: Speaking, Active Learning, Active Listening, Monitoring, Time Management
  • Required Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Office Suite Software, specifically MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Desired Additional Skills: Mathematics
  • Beneficial Experience: Familiarity with economic and accounting principles
  • Additional Technical Knowledge: Understanding of basic economic principles
