Jubilee Insurance is hiring a Cyber Security Analyst responsible for identifying threats, assessing vulnerabilities, and strengthening the organisation’s cybersecurity posture. The tole includes monitoring incidents, conducting assessments, supporting security audits, and implementing security controls.

Location: Head Office, Kampala | Department: Cyber Security

Role Summary:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber incidents
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments & penetration tests
  • Implement endpoint, network, and cloud security controls
  • Support security awareness programs
  • Ensure compliance with security standards & policies

Key Deliverables:

  • Threat & vulnerability analysis
  • Incident investigation and reporting
  • Response to emerging hardware/software risks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP (Associate or CISM
  • Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, and vulnerability management
  • 3-4 years experience in cybersecurity operation:
  • Strong analytical, communication, and
  • problem-solving skills
