THE ROLE
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

- File & ensure safe custody of documents in a manner that enables easy retrieval both in the archives and Document Management System (DMS).
- Support the accountant to prepare General Ledger (GLACOS) files.
- Retrieve audit, VAT, etc. documents as required for reporting purposes.
- Support the senior accountant on monthly effort reporting.
- Assist in preparing journal entries for cost reclassification.
- Provide support in tax filing and documentation.
- Verify expenditure documentation.
- Execute any other relevant tasks as assigned.
To be a strong supporter and advocate for children in this role, you will need to have:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCOM), Business Administration (BBA-Accounting), Science in Accounting, or any other related field. Candidates should have graduated not more than two (2) years at the time of applying.
- Ability to establish and maintain conducive collegial relations and perform effectively as a member of a team.
- Skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
