The International University of East Africa (IUEA) is hiring a Human Resource Manager to help strengthen its administrative team. The successful candidate will support an efficient, inclusive work environment and contribute to the University’s growth through effective people-management and institutional development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of academic and non-academic staff.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and performance management systems.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, university regulations, and accreditation requirements.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
- Management of staff welfare, and payroll
- Maintain accurate HR records and produce timely HR reports.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years relevant HR experience, preferably within the education sector or a large organisation.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and institutional governance.
- Academic work load allocation experience will be added advantage
- Good communication, leadership, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
