| Job Description | Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. In Uganda, we are currently seeking to recruit a Quality Controller based at our Namanve Plant. As a Quality Controller, you will report directly to the Team Leader- Packaging.

| Key Duties & Responsibilities | • Incoming inspection of all raw and packaging materials. • Ensure calibration of Laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained. • Preparation and standardization of Laboratory reagents. • Reporting equipment status to the QAT. • Carrying out validation tests on both product and package as assigned from time to time. • Communicate non-conformances to the Line Team Leader, QAQC, QAT, and SHEQ manager; ensure isolation of non-conforming materials. • Comply with requirements of the QMS, policies, SOP’s and work instructions. • Comply with safe working procedures / signage and standards. • Apply GLP and GMP requirements in lab and production environments. • Participate in food safety management system implementation. • Report on food safety, defense, and fraud issues to SHEQ manager. |
| Skills, Experience & Education | Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in food science and technology, Industrial Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Analytical Chemistry, Science technology Biology Chemistry.
Experience process monitoring, water treatment, wastewater management.
