Holland Greentech Uganda is seeking a passionate and skilled Sales Agronomist to join our dynamic team in Kabale.
NB: CANDIDATE SHOULD HOLD A BACHELOR’S DEGREE OR DIPLOMA IN AGRICULTURE,HOTICULTURE, AGRIBUSINESS,OR ANY OTHER AGRICULTURAL DISCIPLINE FROM REPUTABLE UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE.
Key Requirements:
- Age: 23-30 years
- Experience: Commercial onion production,pest/disease control ,and post-harvest handling
Community work: With farmer groups or cooperatives
Skills: Communication, presentation, business development, stakeholder management
Traits: Enthusiastic, proactive, willing to learn
Other: Valid motorcycle licence
Language: Runyakitara (Rukiga) & Rufumbira preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide agronomic support to farmers in Kabale and the greater kigezi region
- Promote Holland Greentech products and services (e.g., greenhouses, irrigation, seeds, soil testing)
- Lead onion production training and demonstration activities
- Train farmer groups on improved farming practices
Drive sales growth and manage customer and partner relationship - Conduct field visits, follow-ups, and support regional project implementation
