Nation Media Group is hiring a dynamic Senior Business Manager to lead 360° advertising sales across Broadcast, Digital, and Print platforms, with a primary focus on driving growth in Broadcast and Digital revenues. The role involves leading, coaching, and motivating a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets, build strategic client relationships, and develop integrated advertising solutions to strengthen Nation Media Group’s market position and commercial growth.
Main Responsibilities

  • Achieve Nation Media Group’s advertising budgets across Broadcast, Digital, and Print, with a focus on growing Broadcast and Digital platforms.
  • Develop and implement integrated sales strategies, campaigns, and solutions to maximize cross-platform opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Business Executives to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term client partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor for multi-platform advertising solutions.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, emphasizing Broadcast and Digital innovation.
  • Initiate and negotiate strategic partnerships and sponsorships to boost revenue and brand equity.
  • Monitor sales performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement performance improvement strategies.
  • Manage debtors’ ledgers and ensure compliance with credit policies to safeguard revenue.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture, ensuring a high-quality client service experience.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Managers and cross-functional teams to execute business plans effectively.

Qualifications & Experience
Academic

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Media Management is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales and business management experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role in a media, advertising, or fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Proven track record in Broadcast and Digital advertising sales, with exposure to cross-platform selling (Print desirable).
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-media commercialization and cross-integration with partnerships.
  • Membership in a professional body in marketing, leadership, or related fields.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Skilled in project management.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of the media advertising ecosystem, particularly Broadcast and Digital trends.

  • Proficiency in business reporting, forecasting, and use of digital tools/CRM systems.
