Ministry of Education and Sports is welcoming applications for scholarships from suitably qualified Ugandan Scholars to pursue studies at Masters and Undergraduate levels in Chinese Universities for 2026/2027 Academic Year.
PhD Level
1. PhD in Bio-Chemical Engineering (2 Slots)
Undergraduate Level
1. BSc. Civil Engineering (2 Slots)
2. BSc Water Engineering (2 Slots)
Masters Level
1. MSc. Statistics (2 Slots)
2 MSc Pharmacology (2 Slots)
Eligibility
- Applicants for the Undergraduate programmes must have scored a minimum of ‘C’ in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have completed ‘A’ Level in 2023 or 2024
- Applicants for the Masters Degree should hold at least a minimum CPA of 3.60 in the relevant field.
- Applicants for the Masters Degree must have at least two years or more working experience in the relevant field.
- Applicants must not be more than 25 years of age for Undergraduate and not more than 35 years of age for Masters and not more than 40 years at the time of application.
- Must have a valid biometric Passport
- Those admitted on Government Scholarships/ Sponsorship should not apply.

The application form can be downloaded from the Website of the Ministry of Education and Sports: www.education.go.ug, or can be handwritten with a recent passport photo attached. The application should indicate age, sex, course, home district, telephone contact, an email address, photocopiers of academic certificates and transcripts; and addressed to
